Hi, I'm Jiahao and this is my personal blog on data science and travel.

I'm currently a machine learning practitioner, working on data science projects ranging from proof-of-concepts on customer segmentation to production deployment of time series forecasting model.

Previously, I worked as a statistician, a data analyst, and an AI Apprentice, hence transiting from traditional statistics to machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).

My interests are in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and I believe this area is the next frontier for AI to breakthrough. Greatly admiring the work done by the Rasa team, it would be wonderful if I could also work with others to build a powerful chatbot one day.

With a fondness for warm plots of resourceful and enterprising characters, my favourite movies are Catch Me if You Can and The Terminal. Coincidentally, both are directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks :)
